Boise Nationals Timbers (BNT) and FC Nova (FCN) are excited to announce the 2 clubs have entered into a partnership with the goal of merging the clubs in June of 2018.
We believe this is an exciting opportunity with the potential to provide the best possible soccer environment for our players, coaches, and families. The partnership between Nationals and Nova is designed to build a unique youth soccer organization in the Treasure Valley that we believe will greatly enhance the soccer experience we can provide for players of all skill levels.
The partnership will offer a stronger coaching pool, consistent player development programs, and greater resources for players at all ages and levels. By combining resources, the organization will be able to provide a full range of programming for all players along with a complete pathway for both boys and girls to the collegiate and professional levels. The current technical leadership staff of BNT and FCN will also continue to lead the new organization and be working together to provide the best possible soccer experience for our players, coaches, and families.
Teams will continue to play with their current clubs until June 2018 with the goal of holding a combined tryout at that time. Coaching assignments will be announced in the spring of 2018 and every current player will have a roster spot within the newly formed club for the 2018-2019 soccer season if they choose.
Both clubs will be providing regular updates and information throughout the year and families are encouraged to speak to their respective technical leadership for additional information or to answer questions.
Thanks very much for being a part of our soccer family and here’s to the future!
